Meet The Hunters
At Hunter’s we consider ourselves to be more of a family than colleagues, perhaps that’s because some of us are actually family but mainly because we work together closely making decisions for our business and really care about our clients. We stay connected like most families these days with a Whatsapp group where we share ideas, and stories and generally keep in touch with day-to-day goings-on.
To get to know our family a little more we have asked them some fun quick-fire questions!
Jon Clayson
How long have you been working at Hunters? Over 20 years
What do you love most about working for Hunters? Mostly I love the team I work with but I have also made so many new friendships with clients from all areas who are so lovely.
What’s your favourite property TV programme? I can’t watch them…. They are painful!
What snacks do you have in your desk drawer? Generally cashew nuts
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? If I HAD to live somewhere else than Italy, stunning country and stunning people, amazing food.
What’s your second love, next to the property of course? Unquestionably my children and my puppies are my first love, although the children do question the order sometimes… Property is my second
David Lee
How long have you been working at Hunters? 1 year
What do you love most about working for Hunters? The quality of service I am able to provide and the relationships I have been able to build as I help people realise their property dreams

What snacks do you have in your desk drawer? Butter Mints
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? The Lake District
What’s your second love, next to the property of course? My daughter and F1
Jessy Bines
How long have you been working at Hunters? 2 and a half years
What do you love most about working for Hunters? My colleagues, the relaxed atmosphere and being involved with Burgess Hill as I like it here
What’s your favourite property TV programme? A place in the sun
What snacks do you have in your desk drawer? Biscuits, cakes, mince pies, chocolate & a jar of peanut butter
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? A country cottage in a quaint village somewhere while running my own bakery café!
What’s your second love, next to the property of course? FOOD! Cooking, eating, watching, reading, talking about. Oh – and my wife and dog of course!
Matt Cooper
How long have you been working at Hunters? 9 Years
What do you love most about working for Hunters? Working with people on a daily basis, being nosey and looking at houses and genuinely helping out landlords and tenants.
What’s your favourite property TV programme? Peak Blinders
What snacks do you have in your desk drawer? Nuts
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Canada
What’s your second love, next to the property of course? Spending time with my kids and my partner and walking the dog together.
Fin Clayson
How long have you been working at Hunters? I’ve been working in Lettings for just under a year. Well, technically longer as my dad used to force me to drop leaflets off when I was only a little sprout.
What do you love most about working for Hunters? We all get along like a house on fire. So much so, I think Matt’s actually fallen in love with me.
What’s your favourite property TV programme? I love a bit of Escape to the country.
What snacks do you have in your desk drawer? Whatever I can nick from Rosie’s draw as she’s always got snacks on her.
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? The French Riviera seems like a fairly nice place to live.
What’s your second love, next to the property of course? Nothing beats the love I have for the property.

How long have you been working at Hunters? Since Easter 2017
What do you love most about working for Hunters? Meeting all different people and how no week is the same!

What snacks do you have in your desk drawer? I’m not allowed my own desk…
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? I’m a home girl so I’d only live in the UK, wouldn’t mind spending a few months a year somewhere hot though;

How long have you been working at Hunters? Coming up to 3 months – still, time to get rid of me guys!!
What do you love most about working for Hunters? The people. They are a friendly/funny bunch!
What’s your favourite property TV programme? Homes under the hammer
What snacks do you have in your desk drawer? Chocolate-covered dates – a gift from a Landlord, but I am the only person in the office to like them! (Acquired taste)
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? New York. My favourite city in the whole wide world.
What’s your second love, next to the property of course? Travelling…. The next trip is to America again in May 2020!
